If you would like a copy of Mark Batterson’s Wild Goose Chase, read the segment below. Then comment this post by telling how you feel God is possibly leading you on a new adventure. I will then take the comments and draw a winner from a hat, or cup. The winner will not be decided upon by the content of the adventure, but by luck-of-the-draw, and will be notified by August 21.
Adventure is key to following after God. The unpredictability brings about excitement.
“Spontaneity is an underappreciated dimension of spirituality. In fact, spiritual maturity has less to do with long-range visions than it does with moment-by-moment sensitivity to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. And it is our moment-by-moment sensitivity to the Holy Spirit that turns life into an everyday adventure.”
“You know why some of us have never seen God part a river? Because our feet are still firmly planted on dry ground. We’re waiting on God while God is waiting on us.”
“If you want to discover your God-ordained passions, then you need to identify what makes you sad, mad, or glad.”
What adventure is God taking you on?

“You know why some of us have never seen God part a river? Because our feet are still firmly planted on dry ground. We’re waiting on God while God is waiting on us.”
To be honest…He hasn’t – and its for THAT very reason. I can’t hear the song “Honestly” without realizing that my foundation needs to be shaken more and more each day – and I need to be shaken right off the foundation where I stand and out into the world to do something.
Somebody once said “you are where you are…” enough said. A couple of years back, we made the decision to move to Tennessee from Oklahoma. I thought it was for a job – now I realize it was for a church that will not back away from the truth and isn’t interested in being a “Me Church”, but being a church that ministers. For once, it is what I get out of the church that is ministering. I get a church that tells me that its time that I do something on my own locally and “glocally” – that God has given me the tools I need – God has done the Work – now its time for me to obey.
So, I guess the answer is…the adventure is just beginning. Where will it take me? THAT is the better question! Whatever the answer…I’m ready for a Wild Goose Chase!

I am on a wild ride of adventure totally guided by God and the Holy Spirit in my relatively new career as a Spiritual Life Coach. Being open to Spirit led me to quit my 30+ year career as a legal secretary so I can assist spiritual seekers to re-kindle the Divine Spark Within. The journey is one of wonder and miracles and Divine Synchronicity and rivals any amusement park in the Universe! : ) I just hold on to my hat, grab onto the closest Angel Wings and fly where I am led to be of maximum service in the moment!
If that’s not a big adventure — I don’t know what is!
Blessings of Infinite Love & Gratitude,

We’re moving to West Africa. Does that count as adventure? And I’m I too late for the drawing??

“In fact, spiritual maturity has less to do with long-range visions than it does with moment-by-moment sensitivity to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.”
I moved to TN 4 years thinking that God had given me this plan for my future. For TN, for my life. I started putting down roots that first day Sept. 15th, 2004.
Little did I know that not quite 4 years later I would be feeling this prompting of the Spirit to move forward in faith by moving back.
Nothing is secure, I’ve no set plans, I’m not sharing with all until I feel God say to me “go now, little one”
Prayers going up in abundance.
But I am stunned that my long-term visions of my future have drastically shifted yet again.
