WordPress 2.7 Is HERE!

WordPress 2.7 has just been released. Go download the new version now. I just did.

I have a challenge if you do not use WordPress as your current blog platform to consider changing to WordPress. Read Smashing Magazine’s top 10 Weblog Engines Reviewed, and you can see why WordPress is the best blogging engine. Also visit Human3rror to see his post on why he loves WordPress.

If you know some basic html or css you can take full advantage of WordPress.org by tweaking some of the design of your chosen theme. Even if you don’t know much about html or css, you can still take advantage of the ability to download themes, plugins, and more that you would not be able to use with WordPress.com.

Jason Stewart Online

I also have a direct challenge for Jason Stewart Online. He currently uses the TypePad platform, and he also wants to move his wife to WordPress. So why not you too, Jason?

    Did you have problems trying to log back into your blog once you upgraded? I did this yesterday and it took a while to figure out the solution. Email me if you need help. It's surprisingly easy, but finding it online is very difficult.

    No, I did not experience any problems upgrading. I have in the past, but not this time. Or recently. Thanks for offering your help!

    i had a few people tell me they downloaded the .zip file and just needed to know where to put the files. so i had to explain they didn't need to do anything. pretty funny
