
It’s been two weeks, actually 15 days, since I last checked and read anything from my Google Reader. I had over 200 unread items. So I decided to cut some of my subscriptions.

Here are some characteristics of blogs I decided to cut:
So if you see your feed counter drop a reader, I’m sorry, I still love you just not enough to care about your life (joke). On a serious note, my time is valuable and my attention span short. If you wish to win me back try focusing your content and making sure it something I just can’t miss.

I just did the same thing the other day. I even unsubscribed to the Astros fan blog. I'm a big Astros fan but not big enough for them to put like ten posts a day in my reader. I hope I made your cut. Ha!

I recently figured out that TechCrunch (a favorite blog) posts almost three times the number of words per year as in the entire Bible! That made my think twice about my blog habits.
